Eta made landfall as a category 4 hurricane on November 3rd and caused wide spread destruction through flooding and landslides. Families stood by helplessly as their livelihoods washed away.   Two weeks later category 4 Hurricane Iota took what was left.

Rooted International responded by providing emergency food aid to 16 families who lost their homes and jobs in the aftermath of the storms.  In the subsequent months we helped to rebuild the storm destroyed water pipes that deliver water to over a thousand people in the area.
