During nearly every school break in high school, Macy Grigsby spent time volunteering with various nonprofit ministries in Haiti, Belize, Honduras, Zambia, and Mexico, teaching English and hosting Vacation Bible Schools for local children. These experiences in high school motivated Macy to earn a bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education from Grand Canyon University. She is currently a teacher at a private Christian School in Southern California. Macy and her husband Leif enjoy traveling, spending time in nature at the beach or the lake, and they are excited to serve and support families in need in Honduras.  Macy has served on Rooted's board of directors since 2020.
