Melissa Chesney is a founding board member of Rooted International.  She is a middle school teacher at a private Christian School and was previously a school administrator in Southern California. She received a BA in English from California Baptist University and is passionate about education, mentoring, and discipleship. She grew up going on short-term mission trips to Haiti, Belize, the Philippines, and Zambia, and she is excited to see how the Lord will work in the lives of families in Honduras through Rooted International. When Melissa is not working, she likes spending time with her husband, Connor, friends, and family, traveling, quoting movie lines, and eating Mexican food.
