Sheldon got involved with Rooted in 2023 after learning about the Family Preservation Program and joined the board in 2024. He serves as Rooted's Treasurer.  Being an entrepreneur, he really liked how Rooted was involving the families with their own success by helping them start small businesses. Sheldon first went on a small media trip with Rooted, meeting the families in Victoria, Yoro, Honduras, filming interviews, and taking lots of photos. Sheldon attended Biola University and Cypress College studying accounting and finance, and now owns a creative design firm in Murrieta, CA. Sheldon has been involved in photography in the studio and on location for over 30+ years. He is married to his wife Amy for 26+ years, and has two adult children. In his spare time, Sheldon loves to travel, play or watch hockey, and spend time on his Harley with his wife, usually going to breakfast somewhere.
